Bukit Sg Puteh V2 [May 9, 2009]
Here we go again, Bukit Sg Puteh. But this time we left AYMH and bring along a few others.
Introducing Weinan, Voon Keung, Kar Wai, and ME!!
Just to tell you all, those fellars are "graduated" from KUTU and TAKUN, but they suffer....
The stopped way before AYMH did...
Haha!! Wait... more to go...
Maybe you shouldn't eat KFC before hiking.
We are up at the top, slower than usual, and Mock lagging.
This time we follow the long trail... AND,
Its was miserable...
I must say that there is eventually "NO" trail to follow.
We got no GPS, and we only follow the marks done by last curious people like us...
The marks lead us to a quarry, with illegal sand mining going on, and the trail just ended like that.
So, we have to trace back our way....
Shame, we got lost...
There are multiple marks !!!
Precisely, we followed another marking back to the top...
I was hammering away finding ways till I forgot to take out my camera...
Hereafter, I got no more photos to show...
Thanks to Weinan's "indisputable" remark, "We should go up instead of following the marks going down again!", we were back at the top.
The way down the usual route from the was easy.
Bukit Sg Puteh Test Drive [May 2, 2009]
So why is there a hike? Simple. AYMH and ZH is planning for a journey for boy scouts and seniors.
Our destination was promptly suggested, the name of the "bukit" - unknown.
After launch, we departed from school. The "bukit" was easily reachable along Jalan Kuari, turning from Jalan Loke Yew.
"Bukit" is located beside an apartment, and we started to hike. Remember, the name of the "bukit" - unknown.
The track path is big and clear, as there are frequent visitors. Yeah, no more lost..
Well, the hike is not as challenging as Bukit Takun, Tabur nor Bishop Trail of Fraser Hill, but you need STAMINA for this.
Any effort that I had taken to keep my body in good shape for the past few months didn't disappoint me.
We have to stop a few times before even reaching the first look out point.
Anyway we made to the top faster than average, and there we found this...
It really sounded like Seputeh at first... Well, this is Bukit Sg Puteh located in Cheras...
At the top, there are a few other trails that is less traveled and we decided to keep it for Bukit Sg Puteh V.2.
We finished the hike in 45 minutes (with hurry)...
Journey is good as distance from school to Bukit Sg Puteh is around 10km.
So what is the next plan?
